On June 19, 2022, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE) solemnly held the Bachelor Graduation Ceremony for 2515 new engineers and architects graduating from the 1st batch of 2022 and those who graduated in 2021 which was suspended due to the outbreak of Covid-19.

Attending the ceremony were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Duy Hoa - Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dinh Thi – Chairman of the School Council; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Xuan Anh – Vice Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Tung – Vice Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hoang Giang – Vice Rector; MSc. Ngo Kim Tuan – Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; MSc. Nguyen Trung Luan – President of the Student Union of the university and the leaders of the units and lecturers, staff who are assistants to the faculties, institutes, heads of classes together with graduates, parents, etc and 2515 New engineers and architects.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Duy Hoa, on behalf of the University's leaders, delivered his speech to kick off the ceremony. The Rector sent his best wishes and thanks to the new engineers, architects and parents for their companionship with HUCE. At the same time, he thanked generations of teachers and staff of the University for their dedication to the training career, and their perpetual efforts to overcome difficulties induced by the impact of the Covid pandemic in order not to discontinue the training activities; thanked agencies, businesses and partners who have always been accompanying and cooperating to help the University throughout the past years. 

The Principal shared: “I appreciate the efforts made by all of you during your study time at the school, especially in the past 2 years, when both teachers and students, together with the citizens across the nation overcame plenty of hurdles to achieve the goal. Thereby, you need to cherish the degree that you are granted, which contains profound human values ​​from the family, and school to society as a whole. There will be the presence of new faces, who are enthusiastic and creative young engineers and architects trained at HUCE in construction sites down the line. I hope that all of you will always promote the spirit of overcoming difficulties, nurturing aspiration, and forging the will to rise, carrying the spirit of HUCE in your journey to kick off a promised future. Your contribution to the family in particular, to society and Vietnam country in general, somehow upgrades the prestige of the University.”

After the Rector's speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Binh Ha - Head of Training Management Department announced the Graduation Recognition Decision for 2515 new engineers and architects graduating in 2021 and the first batch in 2022; and announced the Decision to award certificates of merit to 04 students with excellent results, 77 students with good results and 842 students with fairly good results.

On behalf of the new engineers and architects who received the diploma, Nguyen Danh Hieu - Faculty of Environmental Engineering presented fresh flowers to the Rector and expressed his feelings and expressed his profound gratitude to the teachers and staff of the school for creating conditions, fostering and guiding students during their study at the common house of Hanoi National University of Civil Engineering, and at the same time expressed his determination to attain excellent working performance in the upcoming job.
