TRAINING MODEL

Currently, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering is offering training programs for both undergraduate and graduate degrees.

Undergraduate programs (conferring the degrees of Bachelor, Engineer, and Architect), with the total number of students of approximately 20,000, offered in two training modes namely full-time and part-time

Full-time programs:  There are 57 majors/minors, which normally last 4 years for a Bachelor’s degree; from 5.5 to 6 years for a BEng degree and a BArch degree. The university also provides integrated study programs (BEng + BArch) as well as joint programs (Bachelor + Master) in 5 years or 5.5 years for the same major/minor option.

Second degree programs: There are 10 majors, with the full-time study duration ranging from 1.5 to 2 years.

University transfer degree programs:

There are 10 majors, with the full-time study duration ranging from 1.5 year to 2 years. Postgraduate programs (conferring the degrees of Master and Doctor of Philosophy)

Master’s programs: There are 22 majors, with the intake of 1,900 students

Doctoral programs: There are 14 majors, with the intake of 180 students

In addition, the university delivers short training courses (conferring certificates) to foster and improve knowledge on topics as required by the demand of the labour market, such as construction supervision, construction investment project management, bidding for construction, real estate, specialized classes for new graduates in civil engineering, etc.
