TRAINING MODEL

Currently, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering is conducting training programmes in both undergraduate and graduate degrees.

Undergraduate programmes (conferring the degrees of Bachelor, Engineer, and Architect), with the total number of students of approximately 20,000, offered in two training types which are full-time and part-time

Full-time programmes:  There are 57 majors/minors, with the length: 4 years for Bachelor degree; from 5.5 to 6 years for Engineer degree and Architect degree. The university also delivers integrated bachelor-engineer/architect programmes and bachelor-master programmes in 5 years or 5.5 year for a same major/minor.

Second degree programmes: There are 10 majors, with the full-time length of from 1.5 year to 2 years.

University transfer degree programmes: There are 10 majors, with the full-time length of from 1.5 year to 2 years.

Postgraduate programmes (conferring the degrees of Master and Doctor of Philosophy)

Master programmes: There are 22 majors, with the with the current training scale of 1,900 students

Doctorate programmes: There are 14 majors, with the with the current training scale of 180 students

Besides, the university delivers short training courses (conferring certificates) to foster and improve knowledge on topics derived from practical requirements such as construction supervision, construction investment project management, bidding for construction, real estate, professionalism classes for fresh graduate engineers, etc.
