On June 28, 2022, at Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE), Ms. Molly Clouthier - Deputy Consul & Trade Commissioner of Canada in Vietnam; Mr. Ron Aubrey - Consulting Director of Duraflex Company; Mr. Heng Piseth - Director of Structural Works, Duraflex Company visited and worked with the University. At the reception, on the side of HUCE, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hoang Giang - Vice Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Manh Tuan - Vice Dean of Faculty of Civil and Industrial Construction; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Lam - Vice Dean of Faculty of Building Materials and full-time staff.

The two sides discussed and agreed on cooperation opportunities between Duraflex Company and Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, starting with a test to check the quality of environmentally friendly products for concrete of Duraflex, in order to assess suitability for weather conditions in Vietnam, as well as to investigate the market and develop the products in the Vietnamese market. In addition, Duraflex Company was committed to creating favorable conditions for HUCE students to have the opportunity to practice and work at the company; as well as awarding scholarships to excellent students to encourage and motivate them. The two sides agreed to carry out the next procedures to sign the Cooperation Agreement, marking the beginning of this potential cooperation relationship.
