From November 30, 2023 to December 1, 2023, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE) hosted a delegation of experts from the High Council for the Evaluation of Research and Higher Education (HCERES) of the French Republic to organize the second external assessment of higher education institutions according to HCERES standards.

After receiving the report from the Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, HCERES discussed and organized direct interviews with target groups of the University including: leaders, managers, experts, lecturers, alumni, and other organizations. The HCERES 's working group also inspected the actual conditions of the school, paying special attention to laboratory, research, science and technology facilities.

After a period of in-depth research and overall evaluation, on April 10, 2024, HCERES announced that HUCE was eligible to receive the second cycle of international quality accreditation certificate (from 2024 to 2029). This is an important step in improving the reputation and quality of the University, and opening up broad international cooperation opportunities.

Quality accreditation certificate from HCERES is not only a title, but also a commitment to continuously improve the school's training quality.
