On May 19, 2026, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE) and Mixseal Global Joint Stock Company officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), marking a new development in the close relationship between the university and the enterprise to promote training, scientific research, technology transfer, and student support.

Overview of the ceremony

Attending the signing ceremony, on behalf of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering were Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hoang Giang - Vice Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Manh Cuong - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Building Materials; Dr. Nguyen Tien Dung - Head of the Department of External Relations and International Cooperation; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Tuan - Senior Lecturer of the Faculty of Building Materials; Dr. Nguyen Van Dong, Dr. Nguyen Cong Thang - Lecturers of the Faculty of Building Materials. On behalf of Mixseal Global Joint Stock Company were Mr. Dang Huy Cuong - Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Nguyen Duc Thanh - General Director; Mr. Pham Huu Thanh - Factory Director; Mr. Pham Quang Hoang - Head of Technical Department; Mr. Dao Ngoc Tho - Head of Marketing Department.

The leaders of the two units discussed the contents of the cooperation agreement.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, representatives from both organizations expressed their hope that the cooperation agreement would leverage the strengths of each side, contributing to improving the quality of training, promoting innovation, and creating many practical values for students, lecturers, and the business community in the construction industry.

The two sides proceeded to sign the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation.

According to the Memorandum of Understanding, the two parties agree to build a long-term strategic partnership based on voluntariness, equality, and mutual benefit. The cooperation aims to develop high-quality human resources. This will boost the construction industry; strengthen research and testing of advanced building materials and green materials; and create more learning, practice, and employment opportunities for students.

In the field of training, Mixseal Global Joint Stock Company will collaborate with the University to contribute ideas to the development of training programs, provide teaching aids and practical material samples for teaching, and accept students for internships and company visits. The company will also send a team of experts to guide and evaluate scientific research projects, graduation projects, and professional competitions of students. The two sides will cooperate in organizing seminars, specialized workshops, scientific conferences, applied research programs, and evaluations of new construction materials.

On the part of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, the university will introduce students with good academic and research achievements to participate in scholarship and sponsorship programs; create conditions for businesses to organize career guidance activities, recruitment, and collaborate on research and technology transfer.

Notably, during the period 2026–2030, Mixseal Global Joint Stock Company will sponsor scholarships for students, and also collaborate in establishing a fund to support research projects related to the company's product ecosystem, support scientific seminars and professional training activities.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Thanh – General Director, a former student of Class 53, Faculty of Civil and Industrial Construction of the University, presented the scholarship.

On this occasion, Mr. Nguyen Duc Thanh – General Director and former student of Class 53, Faculty of Civil and Industrial Construction of the University – awarded a scholarship worth 15 million VND to students of the Faculty of Building Materials, contributing to motivating and encouraging their learning and research spirit.

Professor Nguyen Hoang Giang – representing the University – presented commemorative gifts to representatives of the company and alumni currently working at Mixseal Global Joint Stock Company.

The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between Hanoi University of Civil Engineering and Mixseal Global Joint Stock Company is a testament to the orientation of strengthening cooperation between the university and businesses, linking training with practical production, contributing to training a team of highly competent engineers and architects, meeting the requirements of sustainable development of the Vietnamese construction industry.
