"All of these demonstrate the affection, attachment, and sense of responsibility of alumni towards the University and the succeeding generations," Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Tung emphasized.

After 30 years of study, growth, and development, the return of alumni with deep affection, pride, and practical contributions is a great source of motivation for generations of staff and lecturers; and at the same time, helps to spread the positive values of the alumni community to current students. The University always cherishes these sentiments and is ready to accompany, connect, and welcome back generations of alumni, so that each return is not only a reunion but also an opportunity to create new values together.

One of the highlights of the event was the "From Memory to the Future" exchange program, with the participation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Duy Hoa - former Rector of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, representatives of alumni from class K41, and representatives of outstanding students from class K61.
During the program, stories about student life were shared with a wide range of emotions. Humorous memories of the lecture halls, friendships, teachers, and youthful years were recreated, thereby connecting generations of students at the university.
Notably, the program also connected online with many alumni from the K41 cohort who are currently working abroad. Through the screen, greetings, stories, and memories were sent to the reunion, adding another dimension to the gathering after 30 years.

The exchange program "From Memory to the Future" connects alumni of class K41 with students of class K61.
This return trip holds a particularly special meaning. After 30 years, the alumni of Class 41 not only returned to relive memories but also wished to give back practical values to the school that nurtured them: "Thirty years ago, we received knowledge and the tools to enter life from the school. Today, we would like to return these small gifts to the school as a sincere token of gratitude," this message became the highlight throughout the Class 41's return journey.

Gifts from K41 to the School
The significance of the gifts that K41 presented to the school lies not in their mere material value, but in the sentiment and sense of responsibility embedded in each project. From a learning space, a connecting bridge, stone benches, a drinking water system for students, to the beautification of Huong Canh Cemetery – a memorial to previous generations – all demonstrate a beautiful way of returning: returning to express gratitude and returning to continue contributing. Thirty years ago, K41 left the school with knowledge and youthful dreams. Thirty years later, those former students return with a different mindset – more mature, more successful, and most importantly, carrying with them the desire to contribute to the place that nurtured them.
Therefore, the K41 reunion is not simply a meeting after 30 years. It is also an opportunity to connect generations, nurture teacher-student relationships and friendships, and spread the spirit of responsibility of the alumni community towards the University.
The legacy left by K41 today will continue to be present in the life of the University, used by generations of students today and tomorrow. This is also how the values of a generation are passed on: from beautiful memories to concrete actions; from love for the school to practical and lasting contributions.

Thirty years – a journey of growth.
A day of return – a day of gratitude.
And the gifts that K41 students are returning today will become beautiful mementos, contributing to the continuation of the story about the bond between teachers and students, friendship, and loyalty to Hanoi University of Civil Engineering.
K41 – returning to our school today, from those days, with all our pride and gratitude.
