On the afternoon of September 7, 2026, at Meeting Room 223 – Building A1, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE) held a signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement with the Action Expert Alliance Co., Ltd., opening up new opportunities for cooperation in scientific research, training, and practice in the field of design.

Overview of the ceremony
Attending the ceremony, on behalf of HUCE were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Tung – Rector; Dr. Nguyen Cao Lanh – Head of the Faculty of Architecture & Planning; Ms. Nghiem Ha Tan – Deputy Head of the Department of External Relations and International Cooperation, along with lecturers from the Faculty of Architecture & Planning. On behalf of the Alliance of Experts in Action Co., Ltd. were Designer Pham Huyen Kieu – Director, along with experts, business representatives, and partners in the fields of design, communication, and marketing.
Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Hoang Tung – Rector of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering – emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between the university and businesses in the process of reforming training, scientific research, and developing high-quality human resources. Connecting with experts, businesses, and professional networks will help bring training knowledge closer to practice, while creating an environment for students to experience, practice, and develop their professional skills during their studies.

Representatives from both sides discussed the contents of the cooperation agreement.
According to the Memorandum of Understanding, the two parties agreed to implement cooperation during the period 2026–2030, aiming to build and develop the Design Department of the Faculty of Architecture & Planning, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, into a reputable training and research unit in Industrial Design and Graphic Design in Vietnam.
One of the key focuses of the agreement is to innovate training programs to align with practical production, updating them with modern technological trends such as new materials and artificial intelligence (AI); and to establish a linkage model between the University - Businesses - Professional Associations - Market, thereby increasing internship, job and scholarship opportunities for HUCE students.
Within the framework of cooperation, the Alliance of Experts Action Company Limited will participate in consulting and contributing expertise to improve training programs; connect international experts and lecturers to participate in guest lectures and academic exchanges; organize internships and practical experience programs at businesses; and support scholarships for students. The two parties will also collaborate on research, compilation, and publication of reference materials and applied professional textbooks.
On the part of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, the Faculty of Architecture & Planning is the focal point for coordinating and implementing professional activities, from managing and evaluating the content of training programs, seminars, and workshops to arranging facilities, practical spaces, and mobilizing faculty and students to participate in collaborative activities. Simultaneously, there is a series of practical workshops based on the Project-based model, linked to course projects; seminars and forums updating design trends and AI technology; and an international scientific conference on Industrial Design. The program invites international experts from Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, and MIT to participate in teaching and academic exchange; along with activities such as student internships, scholarship awards, and job placement services.


The two sides proceeded to sign the cooperation agreement.
The signing ceremony marks an important milestone in the cooperative relationship between Hanoi University of Civil Engineering and Action Expert Alliance Co., Ltd., and reflects the University's orientation towards expanding the university-enterprise cooperation ecosystem, enhancing the practicality of training programs, and promoting research and innovation.
