On September 18, 2024, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE) and Portcoast Consulting and Design Joint Stock Company held a signing ceremony for cooperation and handover of the HUCE Digital Model and digital models of ancient villages: Phu Lang pottery village (Que Vo, Bac Ninh), Nom village (Van Lam, Hung Yen), and Cuu village (Phu Xuyen, Hanoi).

The event was attended by Mr. Le Van Duong - Director of the Science and Technology Department (Ministry of Transport); Mr. Le Minh Dao - Deputy Director of the Inland Waterway Department (Ministry of Transport); Mr. Tran Xuan Dich - Deputy Director of the Department of Market Development & Science and Technology Enterprises (Ministry of Science and Technology) ; Mr. Le Van Binh - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Xuyen District (Hanoi); Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Anh - Vice Chairman of Que Vo Town (Bac Ninh); Mr. Tran Van Tung - Former Deputy Minister of Science and Technology; Prof. Dr. Trinh Minh Thu - Rector of Thuy Loi University (Thu Loi University); Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trung Viet - Vice Rector of Thuy Loi University. Representing Portcoast Company were Mr. Tran Tan Phuc - Chairman of the Board of Directors; Mr. Pham Anh Tuan - Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, General Director. Representing Hanoi University of Civil Engineering were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Tung - Rector, along with representatives from various Faculties/Departments/Offices of the University. The program also welcomed many guests, including experts in the fields of construction, infrastructure, hydraulic engineering, marine engineering, and media outlets, demonstrating the growing societal interest in digital transformation and infrastructure digitalization.

Speaking at the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Tung - Rector of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering - expressed his gratitude to Portcoast Company and the experts who have accompanied the University throughout the past period. On behalf of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Tung pledged to continue implementing the achievements of the cooperation between Hanoi University of Civil Engineering and Portcoast Company, incorporating the transferred new content and techniques into teaching and scientific research, and gradually improving the quality of training and research at the University.

At the event, representatives from Portcoast introduced to the delegates and guests the latest technologies and techniques in infrastructure digitalization, technologies that the company owns or holds the copyright for in Vietnam.

Mr. Tran Tan Phuc - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Portcoast Company, gave a speech and introduced the Infrastructure Digitalization technology at the program.

Mr. Tran Phuc Minh Khoi - Member of the Board of Directors, Director of the Infrastructure Digital Transformation Center, Portcoast Company, introduced the new Digital Transformation technology.

Mr. Tran Phuc Minh Quang - Member of the Board of Directors, Chief Information Officer of Portcoast Company, introduced the new Digital Transformation technology.

Hanoi University of Civil Engineering and Portcoast Company signed a cooperation agreement and handed over the projects.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Tran Van Tung, former Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, highly appreciated Portcoast's technologies in the current digital transformation process and expressed his desire for Hanoi University of Civil Engineering and Portcoast to further strengthen cooperation between the two entities. He also suggested that Portcoast expand its cooperation activities to include: technology transfer to the fields of transportation, construction, agriculture, etc., and cooperation, research, and technology transfer to other higher education institutions to train and equip engineering students with the necessary knowledge and technology so that they can perform the professional tasks of employers immediately after graduation.

Over the years, Portcoast Company and Hanoi University of Civil Engineering have collaborated in various fields such as: scholarship sponsorship, support for training activities, student internships and employment at Portcoast, joint training of master's students in Hydraulic Engineering , and currently, working together to integrate the latest advancements in digital technology into the training of engineers at Hanoi University of Civil Engineering. The signing ceremony for the cooperation and digital model transfer between Portcoast Company and Hanoi University of Civil Engineering marks a significant milestone in the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two parties.
