On November 4th and 5th, a delegation from Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE) visited the Lao People's Democratic Republic to congratulate the National University of Laos on its 30th anniversary.

During his working visit, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Phu Doanh – Vice Rector of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering – held an important meeting with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sinthavone Daravong – Director of the National University of Laos, along with leaders of departments, divisions, and specialized faculties of the university.

The meeting took place in a formal, friendly, and open atmosphere. During the meeting, the leaders of the two universities discussed and agreed to strengthen cooperation in training and scientific research. Specifically, both sides will focus resources on promoting postgraduate training programs, implementing international student exchange activities, and especially emphasizing cooperation in the field of digital transformation applied to urban planning, design, and management. The agreement on these contents not only affirms the good cooperative relationship between the two educational institutions but also opens up new directions in line with the general development trends. It is expected that specific cooperation programs and activities will be quickly implemented by both sides in the near future.
