Amid the joyful atmosphere of the SEA Games 31, on May 15, 2022, the Faculty of Civil and Industrial Construction, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE) solemnly held the Opening Ceremony Annual student football tournament for faculty inhabitants in the academic year 2021-2022.

Attending the ceremony were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Thanh Tung – Faculty of Civil and Industrial construction (CIC); leaders of CIC; Leaders of faculties in the school and all the CIC’s inhabitants participating in the tournament and supporters.

This annual tournament is held in order to create a healthy playground for students who are football lovers. Simultaneously, it provides students a chance to meet and exchange with each other and fosters solidarity among students. On the other hand, through the tournament, the Union of CIC seizes this opportunity to discover and gather football talents who possibly contribute to the University's football team in further tournaments, shared by Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Thanh Tung - Dean of CIC.

Student’s football tournament 2022 was held with the participation of 61 teams (569 players). The preliminary round is divided into 03 blocks: XE and XF block (XEF Championship); Construction Block (Construction League) and the 1st General Construction Engineering Football Tournament (XDC), taking place from May 15 to May 29, 2022. Each block will compete in the format of the group stage and strong teams will be selected to enter the final round of the Tournament.
