On April 24, 2021, the University of Civil Engineering (NUCE) solemnly held a graduation ceremony for more than 1200 new engineers and architects, out of a total of 3388 1st batch-graduated engineers and architects in 2021 and 2020 (due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the University has not been able to organize the awarding ceremony in the year).
Attending the ceremony, on the side of the guests, there were Mr. Vo Nguyen Phong - Director of Hanoi Department of Construction; Mr. Phan Quang Cuong - Chairman of the Board of Directors, General Director of CF Group Joint Stock Company; Mr. Nguyen Huu Dat – General Director of Duong Nhat Environmental Technology and Construction Investment Co., Ltd; Mr. Luu Duc Phong - Representative of Huy Hoang Lock Co., Ltd. On the side of NUCE, there were Awas. Prof. Dr. Pham Duy Hoa - Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of the University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Xuan Anh – Vice-Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Tung – Vice-Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hoang Giang Vice-Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Ngoc Chan - Chairman of the Association of Former Teachers of the University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ho Ngoc Khoa - Chairman of the Trade Union of the University; MSc. Ngo Kim Tuan – Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; MSc. Nguyen Trung Luan – President of the Student Union. Besides, there were assistants of the faculties, institutes, the heads of the classes with graduates, the parents, etc. and especially more than 1200 newly- graduated engineers and architects of NUCE attended the ceremony.
Overview of the ceremony
At the beginning of the ceremony, on behalf of the University's leaders, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Duy Hoa - Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of NUCE sent the best wishes to new engineers and architects. The Principal acknowledged the efforts of the students during their time at the school. He is proud of being the person who accompanies the students to achieve their goals and hopes that they will keep up a good learning spirit to start a better future and bring their contribution to the promotion of the university. On behalf of the BODs, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Duy Hoa expressed his gratitude for the generations of teachers and staff of the University who have always been devoted to education and the development of NUCE. He also sends his sincere thanks to agencies, businesses, and related partners for their companion and cooperation throughout the years.

Following Hoa’s speech, Dr. Ho Quoc Khanh – Head of Training Department announced the decision on Graduation Recognition for 3388 new engineers and architects graduating in 2020 as well as the 1st batch in 2021 and administered the "Graduation Cap" ceremony.

Following the ceremony, Hoa handed certificates to individuals who have outstanding performance in the learning and practice process.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhai - Faculty of Environmental Engineering represented newly-graduated engineers and architects to send flowers to the Rector. Nhai also expressed her great gratitude to the teachers and staff of the School for creating conditions, facilitating and instructing students during their university time, and expressed their determination to complete work at their best in new environments.
