HANOI UNIVERSITY OF CIVIL ENGINEERING TO WELCOME AND WORKE WITH THE AUSTRALIAN EMBASSY IN VIETNAM

On May 4, 2023, Hanoi National University of Civil Engineering (HUCE) had a welcoming and working session with Ms. Jennifer Bahen - Counselor of the Education Department, Australian Embassy in Vietnam.  Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hoang Giang - Vice Rector, represented the University to attend the session.
At the meeting, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hoang Giang thanked the Australian Embassy for the close cooperation and support in recent educational cooperation activities. In particular, the connection and cooperation between the Australian Technology Network of Universities (ATN) and the block of 7 Vietnamese engineering universities (G7) will open up many new directions of cooperation in the future for universities such as: bilateral exchange scholarship programs, joint training programs at undergraduate level, postgraduate training cooperation under Project 89, research cooperation within the framework of Science and Technology Funds, Decision No. Decree 2395 and so on.
The two sides exchanged strategies and development orientations on education-research cooperation, as well as the possibility of opening a representative office of ATN in Hanoi.
Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Jennifer Bahen expressed her delight at the orientations given by the leaders of HUCE. The Australian Embassy is very interested in developing cooperation in education, training and research. science and technology between the two countries, the issues discussed at the meeting will be recognized by the Embassy and included in the exchanging plan and implemented in the upcoming time.
