On the afternoon of December 1, 2021, the signing ceremony of Cooperation Agreement between National National University of Civil Engineering (NUCE) and Son Ha Group was taken place to implement several activities within the framework of the Agreement in Principles signed by both parties.

Attending the Signing Ceremony, on the side of Hanoi University of Science and Technology, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hoang Giang, Vice Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Viet Nga, Dean of Faculty of Environmental Engineering; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duc Luong, Vice Dean of Faculty of Environmental Engineering; MSc. Nghiem Ha Tan - Deputy Head of International Cooperation Department.

On the side of Son Ha Group, there were Mr. Nguyen Dang Hoan, Deputy General Director; Mr. Vu Ngoc Diep - Director of TT RD2; Mr. Trinh Duy Dung, Deputy Head of RD2 Department; Mr. Nguyen Minh Giang, Director of ETM Company.

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Hoang Giang thanked for the warm welcome and acknowledged the Group's positive contributions through sponsoring scholarship for the University's students in recent years. Currently, the issues of environmental pollution treatment, resource exploitation control, development of renewable energy sources and efficient use of energy, etc are becoming more and more urgent all over the world as well as in Viet Nam. The Vice Rector expressed his concern that the experts of the University will work effectively with the Group to take advantage of the strengths of both sides and find the optimal solutions to achieve the goal of sustainable development.

Mr. Nguyen Dang Hoan, Deputy General Director of Son Ha Group also expressed his appreciation for the cooperation relationship and initial results that the two sides have achieved over the period. In the near future, the Group plans to implement several pollution treatment projects in local and urban areas. Mr. Hoan hopes that with the support from the leading experts of NUCE, the above-mentioned projects will presently be implemented and bring practical effects.

At the signing ceremony, the two parties has reached a consensus to coordinate in implementing specific cooperation contents such as:

- Research and technology transfer/production in the field of environmental technical infrastructure;

- Improve and restore the aquatic environment;

- Control of air pollution inside and outside the building;

- Waste/sludge treatment;

- Continue to sponsor scholarships for excellent students or students with difficulties;

- Coordinate to hold of topical seminars, professional practice, short-term training;

- Provide experienced human resources with the request of Son Ha Group.
