Within the framework of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's business trip to Europe from January 15 to January 23, 2024, representatives of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering, Associate Professor, PhD. Hoang Tung - Principal and PhD. Nguyen Tien Dung - Head of International Cooperation Department joined the Working Group.

On January 17, 2024, the University's delegation and a group of technical universities including: University of Transport and Communications, Thuy Loi University, Ho Chi Minh City Open University visited and worked with Swiss Benedict Education Group and signed a Memorandum of Understanding on training cooperation with the Business and Hotel Management School (BHMS) - a member school of the Benedict Group. The content of cooperation between Vietnamese universities and BHMS includes: Student exchange; Exchange of lecturers and scientists; Summer camp; Bilateral scientific research; Awarding scholarships to students and researchers; and Exchange of training programs. BHMS is Switzerland's largest private educational institution founded in 1928.

Awarding a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation with the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences

Next, within the framework of a business trip to Switzerland, Hungary and Romania from January 15 to January 23, 2024, on the afternoon of January 21, 2024, on the occasion of the Prime Minister's visit to  Technical University of Civil Engineering of Bucharest (UTCB) Romania, where the Prime Minister studied and received an engineering degree in 1984, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering and Vietnamese technical universities including: University of Transport and Communications, Thuy Loi University, Ho Chi Minh City Open University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with UTCB. The schools and 6 technical schools in the ARut network (Romanian Technical Schools Network) participated in the discussion “International experiences in training and scientific research of Vietnamese and Romanian technical universities”. The person chairing the discussion is Associate Professor, PhD. Pham Quang Hung - Director of International Cooperation Department, Ministry of Education and Training. On the morning of January 22, 2024, at the Prime Minister’s Office Victoria Palace, Associate Professor, PhD. Hoang Tung - Principal of the School signed a Memorandum of Agreement on Cooperation with Technical University of Civil Engineering of Bucharest under the witness of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Prime Minister Ion-Marcel Ciolacu.

Awarding the Memorandum of Cooperation Agreement with UCTB Romania

The business trip of the Representative of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering on the occasion of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh's business trip to Europe was a great success. The contents of cooperation and exchange have been recorded in the Memorandums of Agreement by Hanoi University of Civil Engineering and technical schools of Switzerland, Hungary and Romania. Both parties hoped that the agreed contents would soon be implemented in the near future.
