• The Faculty has 27 staff members, including 25 teaching staff members and 2 faculty assistants.

Training Activities

• The physical education specialist group equips students with basic techniques of several sports, general knowledge of physical training, training methods, methods of injury prevention in sports training, methods of self-assessment and evaluation of physical fitness level, as well as preliminary self-assessment of students' health.
• Program content: Students complete three Physical Education modules totaling 120 hours and 3 credits. The program includes Physical Education theory and practical options such as Football – Gymnastics, Volleyball, Basketball, Badminton, and Table Tennis.
• The National Defense Education Specialized Group is responsible for teaching national defense and security education to university, college, and bridging-program students, and for conducting research in education and training, technical innovation, and educational management. The Group also advises the Party Committee, University leadership, and the Military Command of Hanoi University of Civil Engineering on local defense and military affairs, including training plans for armed forces and teams participating in national defense and militia sports competitions; selection of staff, lecturers, and male graduates for reserve-officer training or military service in accordance with Ministry of National Defense quotas; registration and management of technical personnel and equipment available for defense mobilization; and development of disaster prevention and response plans for the University.

Extracurricular Activities and Student Movements

• The Faculty advises the University on organizing institution-wide sports activities.
• The Faculty organizes and supports sports clubs and University teams participating in student competitions in Hanoi and nationwide.
• Student sports teams: Football team; Basketball team; Volleyball team; Table tennis team; Badminton team; Athletics team

Achieved numerous gold, silver, and bronze medals in various sports such as:

• National Futsal Championship 2016
• Second place in the 11-a-side football tournament in Hanoi in 2017.
• Hanoi Student Volleyball Championship 2017
• Basketball champions for two consecutive years (2018–2019)
• Every year, the athletics team participates in the Hanoi Moi Newspaper "For Peace" Run and has won gold, silver, and bronze medals.
• Second place in the 7-a-side football tournament for universities in the Hanoi area.
• Third place in the Northern Region Qualifiers of the 2023 National Student Basketball Tournament
